I sold my 2nd painting at Trenton’s Art All Night!

Although I went to Art School, I had never really let myself indulge in painting until my mom was diagnosed w/ Leukemia in Oct '08. After the Environmental Program Director from NJ's Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Michelle Knapik, bought my piece at the Trenton Artworks Art All Night 2010, I was inspired to keep going. Last weekend, I sold my second piece and got to meet the buyer, a man named Joe!

When you are lonely this father's day, remember to think about all the things you DO have in your life. Make a list of all the things you DO HAVE and FILL UP your life. Here are a few other things to do for Father's Day if you don't have a dad to celebrate.

What is D Day to us? My mom’s is coming up on June 23. Here’s a video tribute we made.

The days leading up to my mom's transition, I played Enya's Shepherd Moons CD on repeat for my mom. When my dad was transitioning, I played Steely Dan for him. Jeffrey Fadden and Lori Ingwerson helped me to make this tribute video for my mom, which we played at her viewing, the night that Michael Jackson died, June 25, 2009.

Father’s Day Prep – What do you do for father’s day when you don’t have a dad?

What do you do for father's day when you don't have a dad? I'm still figuring that out. Seeing as how mother's day this year was really challenging, I thought I would start some preparation work on what I am going to do on father's day and the day's before. What are you doing to prepare?
